This
tour takes you to the river Tarcoles, which is bordering the
Carara national park. The river is particularly known for
having the highest American crocodile population in whole
Costa Rica.
We'll take you on this tour on a secured motorboat,
watching the uncountable amount of crocodiles. On the boat,
an experienced guide will tell you interesting facts about this area and its wildlife. Especially spectacular are
the many different kinds of water wading birds you can find
in the Tarcoles valley. You might also spot the beautiful
Scarlet Macaw which is nesting in the national park.
Along the way
you will also make a stop at La Roca, a secret spot where
you will have a great view over the two harbors of Puntarenas
and Caldera. Further it is particular known to be a great
place to see monkeys.
